David Beckham selling his first car to raise money for charity

David Beckham is selling his first car asking being asked to sell any car for charity

Former England captain David Beckham is selling his very first car, a 1994 Volkswagen Golf he purchased when he was just 19, in order to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

The charity auction is part of the Give To GOSH appeal, which was launched by The Independent newspaper, in order to raise much-needed funds for over the festive period.

When asked about the auction, Beckham said “I'm so pleased to be part of this amazing appeal to help children at Great Ormond Street Hospital. (My wife) Victoria and I have seen the incredible work of the hospital and I've met its brave young patients. I find their courage truly inspiring.”

The online auction finishes on the 8th December 2015, and the price currently stands at just over £1,700. Not only do you get the car and logbook, but you’ll also receive a signed, framed and fully authentic photograph of the car signed by Becks himself.

You can find the listing for yourself here, alongside some luxury trip abroad, and a giant teddy bear signed by Johnny Depp and Benedict Cumberbatch!
